Throughout her time at Union Lake she has explored almost every department as a kennel and daycare manager, surgical and laboratory assistant, and occasional receptionist. In 2015, she began learning everything she could about canine rehabilitation, and soon after completed schooling to become a Certified Canine Fitness Trainer through the University of Tennessee.
Stephanie obtained her Bachelor’s in Psychology from Central Michigan University. She has a love of animal behavior and the human-animal bond. She spends her time off hiking, doing yoga, and hanging around at home with her dogs and cats and plants.
Alicia is passionate about her rescued “swimmer” syndrome pup, Guppy, and rehabbing the difficult cases that others may feel are beyond help. She spends so much extra time and attention on our patients from Detroit Dog Rescue and really enjoys giving them the TLC they need to recover and find forever homes.
Alicia spends her time away from work training and strengthening Guppy, creating beautiful tie dye designs, and scratch baking. She sneaks up to work to check on her boarding patients on her days off as well…
